Wow. The first story was a dog and the second was a cat. What gave it away in the first story was the line about it being excited to eat dog food. In the second story what gave it away was the weaving between the humans legs. Its weird how the story depicted the cat.

Yes, i was able to determine which animal was speaking in each story. The first one was obsiously a dog since it was excited about dog food. The second story was certainly a cat since it killed the mouse.

It was easy to tell which was what animal. The first was a dog, because he was excited to eat dog food. The cat was also easy to tell because of the weaving through the humans feet and when it killed a mouse. so thats howi know

It was very easy to tell which entry was what animal. The first was obviously a dog, because he was excited to eat dog food. The cat was also easy to tell because of the weaving thru the humans feet and when it killed a mouse.

Why is it important to understand the point of view from which a story is told?

Based on the construction of the two texts, were you able to determine the point of view of each of the diary entries? How?
